At the moment, I'm planning a trip to the U.S.A. in 2008. One of the cities I'll be visiting is - Nashville! So if anyone have any suggestions, please drop a line:-)
The 8-track SOLO presentation CD (2007) is still available - just drop me a line:
...is off cause not my real name!
It dates back to '85, and started as a bit of a joke. Because of some strange letter in my real name, people kept on messing it up. I kept the name (though my real name is actually Chris!).I started writing songs back in '74, and has now written over 3000 songs! (So if you need a song just drop me a line and let's make a deal).I've been playing in a lot of local bands (Earl Grey, The Rebels, Catchabilly, Somebody Could, The Sentimentals, Alleycatz, Platzomania, etc.), and I've done a lot of solo acts.
Which brought me on national television back in '92, where I sang the well-known Carl Perkins classics, "Blue Suede Shoes", with around 1,5 million spectators. Because of education, jobs and family it was hard keeping the music as a single income.
Despite that, I've been playing in various countries over the years: Cyprus, Bulgaria, Poland, France, U.K., The Netherlands(at the famous 'Maloe Melo' club in Amsterdam) and Germany.....Some musical friends:As a musician, I've met some really well-known musicians: Elvis Costello (my all-time-favorite), John Hiatt (he's so down to earth), Ed Manion (you're just a good guy), Southside Johnny (crazy man crazy), Bruce Springsteen (in a hurry), Linda Gail Lewis (stop marrying the jerks), Don Powell (the local Slade drummer), Bill Wyman (don't mention the Stones), Albert Lee (you're playing real fast), Nick Lowe (you were so nice), Geraint Watkins (give that boy a beer), Andy Fairweather-Low (despite you had the flu, we had a nice conversation), Robert Gordon (you were always born to win), Chris Spedding (a real wild loud nice and shy rock rockabilly guitar-slinger), Paul Lamb (the best blues harmonica player there is!), Omar Dykes (Playin' the blues, man, not livin' the blues..), Carlene Carter (What a personality - what a voice!), Charlie McCoy (He plays the harmonica like nobody else, so tight), Tamra Rosanes (So country, and so danish, cute), Mike Whellans (the one man blues band! Check him out...), Marco Di Maggio (amazing player in the wildest game), Linda Gail Lewis (this sister knows how to rock), Duke Robillard (jazz, blues, rock - this cat plays it all - Fabulous!), Bruce Bears (amazing guy and what a piano player!), Larry Garner (Tak, fordi du kom!), Magic Slim (Real Nebraska blues-man!), and so many other international stars - may they shine brightly for a long time.... Off cause, I'll have to mention some danish too! First I have to mention Michael Falch (you inspired me in my danish songwriting), Peter Viskinde (you're the sheriff, champ), Lars Muhl (let's have a private party), Poul Krebs (my man), Mek Pek Falk (a rockabilly new year to you, too), Thomas Helmig (can that cat produce?), Billy Cross (half american, plays a 6120 too, and ev'rybody's talkin'), Nils Maaetoft (country rockin' intellectual), Henning Staerk (From soul to country, playin' in a smalltown saturday night..), Soeren Reiff Jr (I loved the smooth jazz session), 'Rock' Nalle (Now, you know what blues is), and I could keep on forever... Anyway mates, you're the best.. lots of musical love flies out from me...
