About Me

Lying somewhere in the midst of clubland and ceilidh chaos is a generation of Scotland's finest musicians. The few that have been lucky enough to experience a night in their company will not find words that can come close to describing it. Now it's time for them to emerge from Glasgow's underground scene and take to the stage with a sound that is quite simply frightening - big banging tunes with a slap-tight and funky rhythm section. The Treacherous Orchestra are without doubt a line-up worthy of gracing any festival stage across the globe.....John Somerville (Croft No. Five, Box Club) on accordion, Kevin O' Neill (Tir Conaill) on flute, Bo Jingham (of Alvie Estate) on flute, Adam Sutherland (Peatbog Faeries) on fiddle, Innes Watson (Croft No Five, Fred Morrison Band) on fiddle & vocals, Ali Hutton (Back of the Moon) on pipes and whistles, Ross Ainslie (Salsa Celtica, Dougie MacLean) on pipes & whistles, Spad Reid (Croft No. Five) on guitar, Mike Bryan (Box Club) on guitar, Duncan Lyall (Croft No. Five, Fred Morrison Band) on bass, Martin O' Neill (Dochas, Julie Fowlis, Box Club) on bòdhran andPaul Jennings (Croft No. Five, Fred Morrison Band) on drums!
