About Me


Duncan is a bass guitarist and double bassist residing in Glasgow, Scotland. Originally from Dunblane, he moved to Glasgow to study music at the University of Strathclyde. During this time he joined the folk group, Brolum and went on to produce two albums with them. Since graduating in 2001, Duncan has been playing bass with artists such as Croft No Five, John Goldie, Marty Pellow, Phil Cunningham, Kris Drever, Julie Fowlis, Fred Morrison, Ross Ainsley and Jarlath Henderson, Angus Lyon and Ruaridh Campbell
He is a currently a member of Box Club and The Treacherous Orchestra and plays regularly with Jenna Reid, Emily Smith, Sarah-Jane Summers and The Fortunate Sons
As well as his work as a performing and recording musician Duncan regularly works as a producer and sound recordist.
