About Me

About me :
I started playing bass at the age of 13 after my Dad played a Who record to me and I heard the solo in My generation, been a fan of The Who and the bass ever since.
Studied Rock and Commercial music for 3 years (Diploma) ..After which I did a bit of session work (Studio and live), played in some 'corporate' cover bands (managed a few too). Played in numerous bands with differing styles (folk to Nu metal to fusion) I also tutored privately for 2 years and taught music theory at high school ...
I am currently a freelance bass player/composer/producer in Melbourne and I'm also responsible for setting up/starting the Australian bass player collective www.myspace.com/australianbassplayercollective
