I have lived in interesting times. Grew up in Fairfield just outside of Birmingham during the 60's. Have been a DJ (WJLN FM Rock now WZZK in B'ham and WSIM FM Progressive Rock in Chattanooga back when women weren't allowed to be "on the air"), florist (because I love flowers and working with my hands and my boss let me work 9 months a year so I could travel the rest of the time), traveler(Canada,Mexico,Honduras,Guatemala,Bay Islands, Switzerland,England,France,Italy,Holland,Syria,Kenya and Tanzania),camp helper (went to Africa twice to work in George Adamson's Lion Camp "Kampi ya Simba" before he was murdered by poachers.If you watch closely in the movie To Walk With Lions you can see the green curtains I made while there hanging in the area behind the table.), animal rehaber (helping injured fox,owls,hawks,squirrels,raccoons,deer,cougars, snapping turtles and any of the animals brought into the wildlife center), mother (my finest hour!), Ebay seller (selling vintage perfumes) and now cyber adventurer. My interest run across the board and I love good discussions on just about any topic. My family has lived in Alabama for over 125 years and I'm glad to be an American. Got any questions?
