I am as you can hear heavily folk and country influenced with no appreciation for over production. I say if you can say what need be said with just your guitar and voice then go for it.
I play guitar, dobro, banjo, harmonica, and mandolin but not with equal skill. Sadly Im not yet much of a banjo player but Im working on it. I am and always will be a guitar player.
