About Me

Greetings!

I'm a vocalist and self-trained guitarist living out the western edge of the Philly, PA suburbs and am currently creating hybrids of rock and electronic music. My older metal songs and the heavier new ones end up living here and the ones more suited for the dance floor dwell at my other myspace profile for electronica, although lately both are merging into a kind of heavy electronica as heard on tunes like 'Creature' and 'Death of an Actress' from my latest release.

Musically, I am influenced by late 70s & early 80's stadium bands, euro-metal, the more musically talented of the LA hair bands, hard rock of nearly every other kind, AOR & progressive metal as well as modern rock on a song by song basis.

I have crossed paths with some skilled and productive musicians during my life, including a few short episodes of garage band playing with highly skilled axe-slinger Matt Eltringham and some other Chester County, PA lads while growing up. While at Penn State in the mid-80s, I sang and played the occasional guitar alongside Rich Drury, Joe Walco, Mark Frank and Chris Downey for a year in the hard-working party band 'Split Decision' before being more than ably replaced by Jason Ebs . After university, my musical journeys have generally been solo affairs although I am always interested in collaborations and/or the kind of gigging compatible with having a family.

I recorded a dozen or so songs with an analog 4 track in Australia where I worked at the time before moving back to the Philly area in 2000, graduated to a Korg D8 where I re-recorded most of my Aussie-written songs and then sold that suring a financial crunch and restarted on Sony Acid when I started making dance music and electronica rock-hybrids after a year of painful silence.

Thanks for listening and feel free to invite me to listen to your music.
