Ever'body's just havin' a good TIME ain't they Ralph?!?!?

About Me

First of all, I wanna thank God for giving me the ability to perform the music I love! And now to the "about me" part..... I love the traditional, old time mountain style of what they call Bluegrass Music, and I base my own picking and singing on the Stanley style. There's very talented people these days, but I love sticking to the heart-felt music that the masters of our music created many years ago. My top two heroes are Ralph Stanley & Bill Monroe by the way. A raised head Archtop banjo is the only way to go (in my opinion). I DJ two Bluegrass shows on WDVX in Knoxville, TN. I perform in Bluegrass group called Southern Skye, a band from Kentucky and great friends to me. I make guest appearances with my buddy Kody Norris & The Watauga Mountain Boys from time to time as well and he does the same on some of my shows. I've won International Bluegrass DJ of the Year in 2003 and 2005 at the SPBGMA Awards. You can catch me making frequent appearances on RFD TV's The Cumberland Highlanders' Show nationally on Direct TV and Dish Network performing with my group, and occassionally with The Cumberland Highlanders themselves. Not only do I love Traditional Bluegrass, but I really enjoy Rock N' Roll of the 1950s. ALSO, I'm dating my love, Laycee.Lee who means the world to me. She's always there for me and I love her so much. Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it! Feel free to leave a comment or message...-------------------------------------------------- -----
Here's what my buddy Josh "JUG" came up with (referring to flathead banjos). I liked it awful well myself lol...No offense to anybody! ;)
