Growing up listening to garage and drum and base Skits 9 was drawn into the music scene by the fast pace of MC’s spitting with precise flow and precision over such a fast up tempo beat.
He started out on pirate radio stations to build up his confidence, ability and mic techniques aswell as gaining exposure for his name.
The up and coming artist has featured on various DVD’s such as Risky Roads 1 and 2, and collaborated with artists such as Fresh, Ryder, Shizzle and Mike GLC.
Skits 9 also featured on the ‘hit banger’ STRAIGHT UP REAL-ION produced by Spider Billion,put together by Fresh and featured one of the biggest line ups ever: Fresh, J.M.E, Lethal B, Neeko, Ryder, Babysham, Spider Billion,, remedy, Flirta D, Shizzle, Nappa, and Soilder Kid.
Since then Skits 9 has released his debut album entitled ‘G RAP A G IS BORN’ featuring artists such as Jaygo, Mike GLC, Ryder, Abbot P and beats from SBR Recordings, DJ Modie, Dj Ironic and many many more.
