U are now in ryders world so welcome.well 1st of all I started taking music seriously when I was around 18-19 when i realised my passion for it. I then joined up with some friends Raiden, Merxsta and Steady Ranger and started a crew called Kombat. We started off by going on pirate radio Mystic 98.1fm and started building my confidence and a little fan base.
Soon after I started to do a few guest shows with East Connection on another radio staion Deja Vu 92.3fm,at this time this was the biggest radio station showcasing the biggest names in grime,then began to make a bigger name for myself. A few months down the line I was asked to join East Co and accepted, I then started doing loads of radio shows, raves, songs, dvds,tapepacks and making alot of good links etc.
My boy Fresh had also joined the crew a couple months before me and was ripping the airwaves with his new slang ’REAL-ION’ which he decided to do a video for, it was a good experience for me to work with alot of different artists for the 1st time on a video,it featured artist's such as Fresh, Flirta d, Remerdee, Jme, Shizzle, Spider b, Lethal bizzle, soulja kid, Napper, Babycham, Neeko,skits 9 and of course me. It was a big hit and still is till this day.
Unfortunately Deja Vu had decided that they were not going to allow anymore grime shows on their station. After that, East Connection slowly went their separate ways.
Soon after, I shot a video for my big hit tune ’SLU WASTEMWAN’ which blew up all over the country,its was being heard everywhere and was known by everyone.This was the tune that done the most for my name in music as it was the 1st tune i really shared with the people out there,it was definately a road banger,the video was played regularly on channel u and mtv bae so ye it did well for me.
I then started on a new project with Fresh called Real-ion DVD which we ended up puttin up for free viewing on our pages which had a very good response if u still wish to see it you will have to watch it on youtube as it is no longer on our pages. Around this time we had just shot a video with D-Power called Bring it on which featured Shizzle,Doctor,Napper, Forcer, Fresh and me which was also a big hit on da screens.
I then took time out with my boy Fresh to concentrate on one of our main focuses... ’MONEY’ lol. Now we're just finishing up our lastest project Acceleration DVD which features mini videos from various hot uk artist so keep ur eyes peeled &, ur wallet & purses ready....
