Luca Mattioni ( born on 23 October 1973 in Milan ) is a musician and record producer. In addition to being a producer, Luca is also a composer and multi-instrumentalist who has specialised in keyboard electronica. Luca grew up studying piano and composition since he was 8 . At 16 he began to play in some of the most important clubs in his home
town of Milan, performing within different bands and alternating between
jazz to pop music genres.At 19 he started his professional career as session player and a M.D. on many important tours around Italy playing with Patty Pravo, Fausto Leali on his live Album, Paola e Chiara , Umberto Tozzi, Gigi Cifarelli,Alex Baroni and others After a few years , Luca had gained much knowledge about how a song should be
constructed and should sound on record productions. This understanding has earned him respect
as a successful freelance producer and arranger amongst all the major rocord labels .In 2001 he produced ,arranged and wrote one the most successful Albums of the year : “ Lei è “ by the R&B artist Paolo Meneguzzi ( Bmg ) and received 2 platinum Discs . In that occasion he developed the production at Metropolis studio in London and conducted the London Session Orchestra at Olympic studios. Mostly all of the singles released had reached the first position in Italian radio charts for several weeks. He also produced and arranged Paolo Meneguzzi’s third Album and was rewarded for golden disc recognition. Luca also co – produced andarranged ,in London, Austrian pop-idol winner Verena ( Universal ) receiving the golden disc. During that period he composed many suites for some Italian tv shows exploring the world of film music .
Lately he has produced, arranged and written for "pop idol finalist" Daniele Di Marco who is signed to Sony Italy.
Luca helped create a unique rock sound for Rosario di Bella Album ( Universal) in 2006. Recently he co-produced and arranged ,with the italian pop star Renato zero, Jasmine (SonyBmg) In 2007 he produced for EMI the italian rappper ( golden disc winner ) MondoMarcio and later in the same year he was involved as vocal arranger in the “Noconventionalsound†project (Warner ) Luca is actually working on a new SonyBmg artist ( kama ) who will be released at the beginning of June and he’s also producing one of the most interesting rock band for Emi ( Le Strisce )
