Born in Bergamo (Italy) the 9th of June 1976. Son of the guitarist Gino that in the 60’s and 70’ was the leader of the beat music band “I Monelli†with his brother Bruno and Roby Facchinetti, between 1983 and 1990 he studied piano under the guidance of maestro Felice Bergamelli.
Influenced by Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton’s rock-blues afterwards he decided to dedicate his studies to electric guitar.
Between 1992 and 1995 he played guitar for the band “Dr Faust & the Coffee House Brothersâ€, he played in more than 200 places and he recorded 2CDs under the Duck Record’s label (“Bisogno di Bluesâ€, “Cuore Selvaggioâ€).
In 1996 he was introduced to Giorgio Secco who opened the doors for him to the live music scene in Milan that led to a long career as guitar player for a lot of bands.
In 1997 and 1998 he played live and on television with a lot of artists and upcoming bands like Marina Barone, Tony Blescia, Erz and Madreblu. With the band Madreblu he appeared in important live television shows like “Helpâ€, “Roxy Barâ€, “Montecarlo Nights†and “Night Express†playing with Paolo Belli and Trilok Gurthu and supporting Noa, Simple Minds and Deep Purple.
In 1999 he became member of the band “883â€: a winter and a summer tour (“Grazie Mille Tourâ€, “Grazie Mille Summer Tourâ€), two european tours (supporting Eros Ramazzotti’s “Stile Libero†tour), a record (“Uno in +â€), a single (“Come deve andareâ€), a videoclip (“La regina del Celebrità â€), a compilation (“Top of the Year 2002â€), two greatest hits (“Love/Lifeâ€, “Tutto Maxâ€) and lots of TV and radio appearances were the results of his collaboration with Max Pezzali, that come to an end in 2001.
After a short time supporting Italian singers “Paola e Chiaraâ€, Fabrizio appeared on a television show called “Super†with Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz.
In 2003 and 2004 he went on tour with Syria and he participated in different TV programmes like “Trofeo Birra Moretti†and two editions of “Festivalbarâ€.
2005 opened with a TV show, “Buona Domenicaâ€, supporting Laura Pausini for the preview of her single “Vivimiâ€. Fabrizio was then on “Top of the pops†and “CD Live†with Syria and Paolo Meneguzzi, who he supported in the summer tour “Favola Tour†until November.
In the meantime he recorded a CD with Riccardo Maffoni (“Storie di chi vince a metà â€) and another with Jasmine, ex-singer in the band Sottotono, produced by Renato Zero (who sang with her in the track “Nell’angoloâ€).
In January 2006 he appeared with Syria again in the TV show “Quelli che il calcioâ€.
Afterwards he was in the studio, where he recorded the title track of new Luca Dirisio’s album (“La vita è stranaâ€): a new tour with him followed until the end of 2006.
In July 2006 he participated in a Videoitalia TV show called “Serata con…†side to side with Francesco Facchinetti, while in September he was on stage with Syria and Gianni Morandi for the opening concert of Bologna Marathon.
In May 2007 he became member of the band "BandaBertè", supporting Italian rockstar Loredana Bertè.
In April 2008 he recorded with the Fair Play Team "Se bastasse una canzone", one of the most famous song by the Italian singer Eros Ramazzotti.
In June he went on tour with Luca Dirisio again and he partecipated in different TV programmes like "Note italiane nel mondo" and "Cargo".
He has always loved classical music and founded a project called “Past : Part 2†with his friend and piano player Davide Rossi. This collaboration will lead very soon to a record where Fabrizio and Davide will play some of the most important classical music pieces ever (Vivaldi, Locatelli, Mozart and Beethoven above all) with contribution and support from other Italian pop scene musicians.
