Dr. Asperger's Klezmer Tonic

Music from the Heart of Jewish Eastern Europe

About Me

.. Spice up your function or party with the exotic foot-tapping strains of Dr. Asperger's Klezmer Tonic. With a totally unique repertoire comprising Jewish, Gypsy, Indian, Hungarian and Polish tunes, combined with a substantial number of their own celebrated fiddle pieces, they provides a quirky and Bohemian backdrop to any gathering.

They have performed to the Queen at St.James' Palace and have been booked to play in Israel, Poland, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and Ireland. They give regular recitals around S. E. England in such venues as St. Martins in the Fields, the National Theatre Foyer, the Royal Festival Hall foyer, and Brightons Chapel Royal.

Dr.Asperger's Klezmer Tonic was formed early in 2002 by musicians/composers Rohan Kriwaczek and Nik Ammar as a result of a mutual desire to break away from purely traditional Jewish music or "Klezmer" as reinvented dureing the Jazz age in America, and return to the more plaintive and chamber style of the early East European recordings. Their aim is to make you both laugh and cry.

Their CD, "Dr. Aspergers Klezmer Tonic is available by mail order, for the very reasonable price of £8 plus £1 P&P. To buy a copy of their CD click here: Click here to add international shipping within the EU
