About Me

I think MySpace's "Friend Update" is an invasion of privacy. What do you think? Currently, I'm "scary and damaged" and quite possibly "dark and twisted." If you know what those quotes are from then maybe I would like you a whole lot...or the very least, you'd get a chance at me liking you a whole lot. I'm "a doe-eyed girl with no complaints." And when it comes right down to it, I'm just a "sweet troubled soul." I read somewhere that "perfectionism is the highest order of self-abuse" and I'm a perfectionist to a fault. I have been known to hurl myself off a 25 foot high platform and fly with the greatest of ease! The trapeze kicks ass! This week, I am temporarily spelling my name: E-m-i-l-i-e...all because some musician guy felt like spelling it that way. I have been known to date NHL players at one time or another. Ask Linda, she knows all about that phase. I have since hung up my skates. I like making spicy hotwings so spicy that they blow a hole outta people's asses. Since people often ask me...I don't mind cooking meats for my meat-eating friends and loved ones...I just don't eat the stuff. My archnemeses are Olympic gold medal skater Kristi Yamaguchi and Kate Hudson. It's a LONG story...ask Linda, she could tell you. I once spent a month in Greece and have the ability to communicate in Greek...but, only with two-year-olds. I love Imogen Heap! I'd go gay for Immi. She drinks straight from the wine bottle! Hot damn is that woman talented! Go watch her archived performance on KCRW and fast forward to 10:50 of the stream. I have the hots for Patrick Dempsey...The Patrick Dempsey of now vs. The Patrick Dempsey of "Can't Buy Me Love." I love me some McDreamy!

My Interests

Anderson Cooper, Yoga (BUT not the Bikram kind! Sweating that much should be a crime), NYC, Hockey, rock shows, Greece, vegetarianism, CAKE(the dessert), Toronto, squirrels, nudity (my own and the occasional hot guy), the amazing versatility of tofu and I have a strange fascination for supermodels and tap dancing midgets in tuxedos

I'd like to meet:

Bridget Moynahan. We currently have a lot in common. In general? Anyone with an immense amount of talent, creativity and a sense of humor. Someone passionate. Someone who wakes up in the morning and goes to work knowing they love what they do. Someone who can stimulate me intellectually...I said, INTELLECTUALLY. Someone cerebral. Someone who likes . Someone who likes to cook...and I don't mean Kraft Macaroni and Cheese or a microwavable entree. People who dig the same music that I do....(Go to EMILY'S INTERESTS and refer to MUSIC). Looking to spawn with a man with a strong jawline/chin and a nose that has been bashed in...at least once (this is what my friend, Nick, tells me I desire in a mate). And did I already mention...someone creative? And intellectual...Did I mention that? A genius. Someone I can have a conversation with about World War II, felines and squirrels. Someone who enjoys a fine bottle of wine. Someone with excellent puck handling skills or someone who can handle a stick shift. Someone who enjoys people watching on NYC subways. Someone who might want to hold my hand on a stroll through Central Park...it's always been one of my dreams. Did I mention I'd like to meet Bridget Moynahan? I'd like to swap stories with her.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder?

Typically, Asians view Westerners (Whites) as the epitome of beauty. I have even found that my little daughter is subject to such standards as people, specifically, Filipinos, seem to covet and/or env...

I'm stinkin' mad (and very pregnant), but I'm not going to just lie down and take it!

I recently had to battle Blue Cross of California to pay for my pregnancy claims. Months of paying their premiums and then to be told five months into your pregnancy that your insurance company won't ...
