About Me

Wayne Pauli's Gallery 2005-2006Singer-songwriter and artist Wayne Pauli was born 2nd of July 1976 in Cape Town South Africa. He began his musical career at the age of 16 playing covers on the Cape Town pub circuit with his father a semi-professional musician. In 2000 he released his first album of original songs called 'Farewell Station Rd', a collection of brooding folk/rock songs which was critically acclaimed by many in the South African rock fraternity. In 2002 he formed The Soundfields with vocalist and songwriter Craig Banks. Heavily influenced by the 90's British rock sounds of The Verve and Oasis, the band moved to London in 2003 looking to take their music to a global audience. In late 2005 Wayne left The Soundfields to front his own band project called The Stremes.
