Liquid Silver Books is actively seeking high quality, unique erotic romance manuscripts for both Liquid Silver and Molten Silver lines.
We are a full service, royalty paying ePublisher which means NO fees for the author. Your book will be professionally edited, assigned an ISBN number, and provided with quality, award winning cover art. We pay 40% - 50% royalties on retail sales from those sales originating from the Liquid Silver web site. We pay 40% royalties on retail sales minus distribution costs for those sales which originate from various distribution channels we utilize. Royalties are paid eight times a year.
Our standard contract is for electronic rights for one year. We are placing some of our books into print and contracts will be revised for those. 30% of net proceeds is the royalty paid for print books.
We are looking for stories that ignite passions, with characters that have depth, imaginative plots, vivid settings, and clear dialogue. We want to see strong stories, stories which could stand on their own if the sex was omitted. However, by the addition of explicit sex throughout the book, the entire work then takes on a titillating aura from beginning to end. The sex must carry the story along and not just be included as though it was an afterthought in order to submit it.
For our Liquid Silver line, we are looking for the build up of passion, the explosion of a sexual relationship between a man and woman and not just a story with one sex scene after another. Think the traditional "happy ever after" conclusion resulting in a commitment between the hero and heroine.
For our Molten Silver line, we’re looking for the boundary-pushing, the “holy crap, that was awesome†with a hotter, steamier level of erotica, but is still a well told story, not just sex scene after sex scene. Stories can include BDSM, multiple partners, same-sex loving, anal play, or anything else that tickles your fancy. Just make sure to give us a happily ever after (or, happy for now) ending.
That being said, there are a few taboos we’d rather not see, including pedophilia, bestiality (no, that doesn’t include shape-shifters), our definition of pornography, adultery, rape or incest, or hate messages to any race, gender, religion, or sexuality.
Genres: We are open to all genres at this time, especially Paranormal, Fantasy, Dark Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Science Fiction, Contemporary, Historical and many other unique genres. We are also open to multi-cultural themes in any genre. GLBT submissions will be considered for our Molten Silver Line.
How to Submit: Email us at [email protected] with the first three chapters and the synopsis of your book as .rtf attachments along with a cover letter, in the email body. Within the cover letter tell us your writing background and your thoughts on ePublishing – the reasons why you are exploring ePublishing and your expectations of doing so.
Submissions need to be formatted in 12pt Times New Roman, single spaced, POV and scene breaks designated, and in .rtf format.
