In Webster's Dictionary the words 'TONE' and 'JOY' read as follows;..Tone--noun....Vocal or musical sound of a specific quality with respect to timbre and manner of expression. Joy--noun....The emotion evoked by well-being, success or good fortune, a state of happiness. This is what the late Deacon Thomas had in mind over 40 years ago when formed the "TONES of JOY".And though our Heavenly Father has called some of our alumni home, we continue to carry on the fruits of Deacon Thomas' labor..With new members and the release of our CD in 2005 titled 'CALL HIM UP' and the soon to be released 'LIVE in DELAWARE' 2008 CD,, the" TONES of JOY" continue to bring specific qualities of expression with a state of happiness. singing gospel..
