D.J. Boogie Da chosen 1 Someone once said, "MAKING GOOD MUSIC IS LIKE MAKING GOOD LOVE. YOU'LL NEVER GET TIRED OF IT". For me Ronald Jenkins a.k.a. D.J. Boogie Da chosen 1, making people dance to music is something that flows thru my veins. The art of playing music wasn't something I picked up as a late night hobby, it's sort of like a family ritual. I come from a family of DJ's and at a young age the rhythm and beats that tapped the base of my eardrums as a child, kept on thumping in my heart, as I grew older In Forest Projects, where I was born and raised, talented artist such as Fat Joe, Lord Fitnesse, Show Biz, A.G. and Diamond D were all inspirations to him, because they proved that dreams could become reality. With more then just ambition to be the best. I put my heart into spinning records on turntables unconsciously. I begin playing music at local neighborhood house parties and james in the park, while I was in high school. It wasn't too long before a star would be born among his peers and I started to land paid functions. I captivated crowds by falling under the trance of their roars and giving them more then they could handle. Now with more skills and experience under my belt I D.J. Boogie has proven to be more then just a local neighborhood disc jockey. I focused on becoming the best turntable doctor in the business, trying to alleviate everyone's pain, sorrow and depression in the clubs, on the radio and mix tapes.
