Keith Hamilton Cobb starred in the role of Tyr Anasazi,the Nietzschean which he popularized during Andromeda's first three seasons. Cobb has been seen on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless playing the role of Damon Porter. Cobb honed his acting skills at the prestigious Circle in the Square and Playwright's Horizons acting studios in New York. His impressive list of theatrical credits includes Othello, Coriolanus, Hamlet, Julius Caesar, Romeo and Juliet, and numerous others. Cobb's love for acting stems from his devotion to the works of William Shakespeare. He served for two years as a judge of the National Shakespeare Competition. Cobb taught for six years at Youth Theatre Interactions, an after-school performing arts program in Yonkers, New York that introduces children to the arts. He also spent several years at Playwright's Theatre of New Jersey, where he taught playwriting, directed and performed in the plays of youthful offenders in the New Jersey correctional system. His first professional job was in a production of Jean Cocteau's "The Infernal Machine" at the Jean Cocteau Repertory in lower Manhattan. In his first feature film role, Cobb portrayed the bodyguard of a Mafioso in the independent film Astonished. He also won the starring role in the independent feature Eyes Beyond Seeing.
