About Me

Brett Perkins is an artist. Brett Perkins thinks that too many people throw that term around loosely without actually understanding the deeper meaning of the artform. Brett Perkins is a bit of a douchebag sometimes, and most people would agree that he is an asshole. Brett Perkins "perforates" skin as one of his means of living, and uses the rest of his time to write, paint and record music. Brett Perkins thinks there isn't much to seperate him from the other douchebags on myspace who all claim the same profile except that he is sincere and the visions in his head never cease. Brett Perkins also thinks that the nature of being an artist requires one to have a certain inflated ego and one must therefore refer to oneself in the third person at all times. Brett Perkins thinks you are a moron for reading this far.

My Interests

Everything in life interests me at some point in time. Just the simple fact that we all exist, can be so similar and at the same time so different can give me hours of ammunition for thoughts.

I'd like to meet:

Hmmmm, Jehova's Witnesses, Mormons, Scientologists.... basically the only people ballsy/stupid enough to step up to you on the street and say "hi."
For the rest of you bitches... I'm celibate.

Music:

Most hip hop. Most older hardcore and punk. Some older country (believe it or not). Rockabilly, ska, jazz, big band, classical. I have a diversified palette when it comes to music and arts.
