This site contains work in progress. Which means that the music and lyrics are written, but the arranging and the recording process is in various stages. Which of course also means that the tracks here are rough mixes, and may turn out as something very different when they..re finished.
The songs in their finished form will become part of an album released in 2008.
Bio:
Elsewhere is an "extended duo", founded by singer Greta Aagre and producer/songwriter Erik Honoré. Later, Jørgen Rief joined on guitars. Elsewhere is based in Oslo, Norway, and Tom Rudi Torjussen contributes drums and percussion on the recordings.
Greta Aagre: Singer, music therapist. Background from bands and stage work in cabarets based on the music of Jacques Brel and Cornelis Vreeswijk, among other projects. Born in Brooklyn, raised in Grimstad, lives in Oslo.
Erik Honoré: Musician/producer/author. Worked with Velvet Belly, Arve Henriksen, Nils Petter Molvær, Claudia Scott, among others. Artistic director of the Punkt festival in Kristiansand with Jan Bang. Written 3 novels published by Gyldendal. Born in Kristiansand, lives in Oslo.
Jørgen Rief: Singer, guitarist, teacher, father, talented cook. Has his own band, Pope. Born and trapped in Oslo.
