Instilling a deep fear of cupboards into Rhodri's psyche. Attending as many gigs as humanly possible and financially viable. Being embarassed by Tae at Pro Evo whilst holding my own against Adam and Jake. Playing actual football (this normally involves much less skill and technical ability). I'm also currently attempting to teach myself guitar. Suffice to say I am unimaginably incompetent, give it a year and I might be able to do a passable rendition of 'Break Stuff' by Limp Bizkit. Reading. Lots of this. I've been slacking off recently but am back on the case. Every time I see someone else who has written 'don't read books' on their profile I despair a little bit more at humanity. Not that I'm an elitist or anything. Currently trying to remember how to be a halfway decent chess player as well, failing miserably at the moment. Late night cycles down Lewes Road.
I signed up to try and discover new music and maybe catch up with some old friends or people I hadn't seen in a while. But then my Friend Requests box was washed away in a deluge of generic bands and people who all looked the same so now I mostly just send stupid messages to people I'm probably going to see in a few hours anyway. But you know, whoever.
All time greats:
Lostprophets, Every Time I Die, Hell Is For Heroes, Brand New, Thrice, Funeral For A Friend, Hondo Maclean, New Found Glory
Currently (but not exclusively) rocking out to:
All Time Low, Biffy Clyro, Crime In Stereo, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Explosions In The Sky, Foals, Four Year Strong, Have Heart, Jimmy Eat World, Me Vs Hero, Meet Me In St Louis, No Roses, Polar Bear Club, Protest The Hero, This Is Hell, Twin Atlantic, A Wilhelm Scream.
A multitude of other bands who I've lost countless hours to. I love music.
I don't know much but I know what I enjoy and that includes: The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, The Usual Suspects, High Fidelity, Starship Troopers, Dead Man's Shoes, LA Confidential, American History X, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Harold & Kumar Get The Munchies, Seven, Mean Girls, Oldboy, Toy Story, Schindler's List, Die Hard Trilogy, Gladiator, The Matrix, Garden State, Clerks & Clerks II, Batman Begins.
Peep Show, Scrubs, I'm Alan Partridge, Neighbours (dangerously on the slide at the moment, fuck off new credits and shitty new characters), Family Guy, South Park, The O.C. (I don't care what you say, Season 1 is gold), The Simpsons, Have I Got News For You, Malcolm In The Middle, Planet Earth, Jonathan Creek, QI, Match Of The Day.
Discworld series, Vernon God Little, His Dark Materials Trilogy, Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, The Hobbit, The Power Of One, Fever Pitch, High Fidelity, Hannibal Lecter Trilogy, Cloud Atlas, Harry Potter series, Life of Pi, The Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy, I'm a sucker for a good thriller but I'm pretty down on my classics, oops...
Currently getting into The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Onto the 3rd volume at the moment and it's been pretty badass thus far. That's right, books can be badass.
