Lucent

Lucent are an unsigned Cardiff based 3 piece just reformed in december 2005. They are reformed with frontman Bryn Thomas from established unsigned Cardiff bands such as Substance & Fenton.
Their music has been described as ‘infectiously catchy Indie pop rock’. Lucent members are Bryn Thomas (vocals, guitar), David Hawkins (bass) and Nicky Sweetland (drums).
They have well over 10 years of gigging experience under their belt and between them have supported such bands as The Stereophonics, Feeder, Kula Shaker, Proud Mary and Nine Black Alps, Future Kings of Spain, Cherry Falls and The Shout Out Louds and many other signed and unsigned bands.
Since introducing our music via the internet (myspace.com), we have recieved a lot of positive feedback about our music both online and from our live audiences.
Our individual influences range from Bowie, The Cure, Iron Maiden, Placebo, The Who, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. We have a diverse range of styles within our songs but never stray from our own identity and feel.
We have an abundance of songs and are hungry, dedicated and totally committed to the cause.
