About Me

Hi, I'm a Belgian who ended up in London. I like music and books and painting, taking pictues etc.. (some of my attempts are to be found in the photo section)I've been in England since 1998 and constantly change my mind about moving back home... or not...?I work for an airline so lots of free travel so I try to see as much of the world as I can afford.I spend my free time meeting friends in pubs, dancing to 80ties tunes a few times per month, painting, taking pictures, reading or being a lazy git in front of the TV.

Music:

I have sooooooooooooo many different artists on my ipoddy! Things that REALY do not match like Public Enemy and Whumpscut! So yeah, let's say i like them and everything inbetween! All time favourites: The Cure, Sisters of Mercy (although they suck live!), Joy Division and the great mr Nick Cave. .. width="425" height="350" ..

Movies:

My favourite film is Der Himmel Uber Berlin. I can watch it again and again and again. Has the most beautiful declaration of love ever... (see below) .. width="425" height="350" ..

Television:

I love comedy! Black books, Red Dwarf, everything by Eddie Izzard... Can happily spend rainy weekends watching nature programs on TV or things about history. My favourite scene out of Black Books: The guys 'dancing' to Ace of Spades! .. width="425" height="350" ..

Books:

Diskworld! LOVE those books! Always cheer me up. I do read more serious stuff from time to time... but always go back to the Diskworld!

dilemma update

Today i found out the wages for the Dublin job. The maximum they offer is 5000 euro a year less then i make now! in my oppinion Dublin is these days as expensive to live in as London so there is NO WA...
