About Me

..This profile was edited with Thomas' myspace editor™ V2.5 The band was born on September 20th, 2000. Rob was at a Phish concert celebrating his sister's birthday when he received a page from Jeff and Jon, who got the number from a guy that Rob was in a college writing class with, who knew they were looking for a bass player. When we got together the first time we knew we had something good. We were a creative powder keg with a short fuse. After about three practices the material was pumping from within us. After a history of line up changes and many incarnations of the band, we have once again become a full force. In 2005 we added Mark (ex drummer of Wreched Guild) replaces Jon on guitar and we added Brian on lead guitar and Joey (ex drummer of Feindish) on the drums. KTM is once again experiencing a creative tidal wave and are looking to do show trades.Another chapter in the KTM novel has passed. Fall off 2006, Mark and Brian have decided to pursue their personal lives and withdrawn from Kill the Messenger. We have since re-aquired Craig on guitar and we are searching for a second guitarist. We have started the creative gears turning and are currently working on some back catalog material as well as writing some new tunes.Fall of 2007, in typical KTM history, we are once again drummerless and guitarless. This doesn't mean KTM isn't alive and breathing, it means we can't play any shows until we get another line up together. Thanks to all who continue to support!
