From the original death metal band Extraxe the group LOCOMOTIVE was formed in Cesky Krumlov.
There are now 3 albums and 2 EP's to their credit, assistance on tributes albums ( AC/DC, RAMMSTEIN ), assistance on few compilations, their newly released first oficial DVD Live In Bratislava ( 2006 ).They're working on finishing touches to the latest album (unnamed at the moment) which will be released in November this year, amongst the guests appear names such as Gary Meskil ( PRO-PAIN ), afterwards they are on a mini tour with Dutch metalcore band BORN FROM PAIN.In their 12th year of existence, LOCOMOTIVE stand alongside big names (not only in the Czech Republic) such as TESTAMENT, MACHINE HEAD, PRO-PAIN, AGNOSTIC FRONT, NAPALM DEATH, EKTOMORF, WALTARI, DROPKICK MURPHYS, FURY OF FIVE, BETZEFER, KRABATHOR and many more.Their quality is also proven by performing at prestigeous Czech/Slovak festivals such as Dynamo North Power Jam, Nuclear Storm, Noc plná hv--zd, Trutnov Open Air, Malá Skála fest, Corgo-- Open Air Fest etc.Positive reviews come not only from fans but also from music critics. Music magazines are excited how the band mix death metal, thrash and hardcore and so are the fans thanks to a great show full of energy and sweat.
