SATISFUCKTION Satisfucktion was formed in 1991 in a small town called Vyssi Brod, South Bohemia, not a very pleasant location for the guys. That explains their grimy alcoholic sound that changed little, even when the band underwent some personal and geographical rearrangements. Satisfucktion HQ now lies in Ceske Budejovice, a city of undoubtedly the best lager in the world, Budweiser Budvar. In 1994, the band recorded a four track demo "Give Me a Gun", a turning point for the band's sound. Then, two never officially released LP's "Satisfucktion" (1996) and "Guarantee" (1998) were recorded. In the time between 96-98, Satis reach their peak in live performing: they shared the stage with bands such as"Dog Eat Dog" (June 96), the legendary "Kiss" (for a crowd of 50,000 in Prague) and wonderful "Faith No More" in 1997. The same year, Satis enjoyed an alco-pornographic tour of the Czech Republic and Slovakia with Waltari. Since that time until today, Satisfucktion have played countless shows in their country (e.g. with K25A), as well as in Holland and Great Britain in the year 2000, when their album "Psycho" was released. In 2002 the band won a national contest called "Rock Made In Gambrinus", which presented the opportunity to release an official record on a major label (Ceska Hudba). This record was called "Keep It Your Way". Satis also featured in various TV shows, including the popular Czech show, "A Night With an Angel" (Noc s Andelem). In 2004, their first music video was shot for their song "Your Smiles" (K.I.O.W.). The band focused their efforts in 2006 on putting the finishing touches to their fantastic new CD, "Motionless", which they released, independently, in July 2007, and followed with a successful promotional tour in Czech Republic and Slovakia. The final date of the tour, on 23/12/07, was in Ceske Budejovice, where the band played "unplugged" (acoustically), to an intimate audience of 200. 2007 also saw the release of a second music video for the track "Dead End". Plans for 2008 include a Euro and UK tour, in the spring!................... SATISFUCKTION are still playing live shows in support of the very successful album "MOTIONLESS"and are currantly working on a new album due for release in 2010.
