Tir na n'Og, which means Land of the Everliving on Irish Gaelic, and represent Celtic version of the Champs Elysees, is also a name of a young Serbian bend that was created in year 2000 by group of Irish music enthusiasts.Bend mainly played songs of the bends like The Pogues, Youhg Dubliners etc.Very soon bend gained their faithfull audience that followed the bend on their numerous concerts.Tir na n'Og was starting point for more than one young musician during the years and all of those musicians that passed through the bend hasnt just passed but also left a lot, hers or his signature in music which had a deal in forming tho overall sound of the band.Geting the steady line-up for the first time has led to the forming reborne band of authentic and recognizable sound which nobody will mistake for something else then Tir na n'Og.Tir na n'Og has become authentic pop-rock band, with songs that are both on English and Serbian language, with a pinch of punk and folk elements(Irish and Serbian) in its music.Tir na n'Og has been repetedly nominated as the best band without an album in Serbia, but that is now changed because band has released its deby album "Tir na n'Og" on the 21st of september 2006.Band also recorded three videos, for songs "Brodovi" and "Danny Boy"and "River", and those can be downloaded on www.tirnanogmusic.com.
