I am here for Friends

About Me

Hi. My name I Peabody. My wife is Rose I enjoy quiet time with Rose. I spend so much time working and with my hobbies, I don't have much time to rest. Some of the things I do with my personal time: Stained glass, Gardening, Camping, Fixing whatever, Marine aquarium, Travel, Wood working, Cooking, Most people miss the opportunities in life. They don't recognize opportunity because it wears coveralls and looks like work.

My Interests

Patton, George S. Jr

"Almighty and most merciful Father, we humbly beseech Thee, of Thy great goodness, to restrain these immoderate rains with which we have had to contend. Grant us fair weather for Battle. Graciously hearken to us as soldiers who call Thee that, armed with Thy power, we may advance from victory to victory, and crush the oppression and wickedness of our enemies, and establish Thy justice among men and nations. Amen." December 8, 1944

I'd like to meet:

Smart, kind, gentle people who learn from life.
Fun, intellectual, with a sense of humor.
Able to converse about bright ideas and new concepts.
Sober, thoughtful, caring individuals. Please try to avoid me if you watch more than 4hr of T.V. a day (Time with the History Channel may be excluded, ask for waiver/details) I keep in contact with the friends in my world. If you want to be included, and be seen amidst some of the finest people in all of MySpace - Come join in and by all means participate.

Think beyond, aim high, become great.
It's what your mother expects.
My score on The Calvin Or Hobbes Test :

Mostly Calvin
(You are 70% Calvin and 30% Hobbes)

Your inner Calvin often prevails, but, as in the image below, you have a significant Hobbesian component. I'm going to try to stretch the visual metaphor here: you have a good head on your shoulders, but when you don't use it, your crazy body gets you in trouble? Does that work? Odds are you're impulsive and imaginative, but it's possible you've collected just enough wisdom to hold your most anti-social urges in check. Most of the time. It's a precarious balance, like a boy on one foot with a tiger head.

Television:

The biggest waste of time!
Television will suck your life away. I have broadband internet, but no television.
