Set up in early 20006 by two young northern scally wags who decided to do something to combat the bordem of a long (hot?) summer which was looming.
having always had a passion for music and the industry we became increasingly frustrated by the masses of talented bands getting constantly overlooked; we decided to do something about it..so here we are!
however, having said that we are not here to make dramatic changes to the music industry and the way its ran forever! we just like to think of ourselves as a stepping stone to bands and give them a helping (and friendly) hand to get noticed in the cruel and ruthless world of the music industry. driven by ambition,we are willing to put in the time and effort.. its just what we do!
our first release is due in June 2007. it will be a 7" record with the Down & Outs! this will be followed by 6 one off releases from 6 different bands every few months! this will be known as either 'The Singles Clubs' or 'The Singles Collection' .. We still havn't decided!
we also hope to set up a regualr club night but one this at a time eh?
we are always onthe look out for new bands so by all means get in touch with us even if you not in a band and just have a recomendation! but please don't pester us.. we will reply as soon as we can! also, we are not promoters or agents so we cant offer gigs or support slots. if your wanting to play a gig with any of our bands your best bet is to get in touch with the venue/promoter the gig is at!
