About Me

I grew up in Lancaster, Ca. where I went to Antelope Valley High school (some of you may remember me from there. I started writing and flowing back when I was in junior high school. I always loved all kinds of music, especially hip hop and it is partly because my father used to buy all the records and stuff. He had Sugar Hill Gang, Kurtis Blow, Big Daddy Kane, Rodney O and Joe Cooley, some of everything in addition to the soul and R&B music he had as well. Back then I was K-Rock, until I realized that M.C. Lyte's DJ had that name, then I changed it to K-Unitee after seeing all of those Riunite commercials that used to come on. I kept that name for a while, and I linked with Sinister, Half-Life Grip and Black Cashmere to form DDT or Droppin Devestating Techniques. That didn't last, but it was fun. I ended up linking with Mr. Clean and J-Mack (who were the Unseen) and we changed the name to Thee Unseen Tekneeks. I used to go by there every other day making our own freestyle tapes (called 'Drano Skills'). We made a bunch of songs at Crystal Sounds Studio in Santa Clarita, Ca. like 'What's That Sound?', 'Disconnected' and 'Checkmate', and made the EP 'Sightings' but then we had to kick J-Mack out of the group. It was just Mr. Cleen and I, but I ended up moving to Atlanta to go to school. After I graduated from Georgia State University, I moved back to Califormia and liked with Cleen and Life For The Better. We released 'File This Under Hip Hop' in 2003 and we thought everything was gravy. At the same time, I was working on my solo CD 'Clarification' and Cleen and I were working on 'And Onward Goes This Thing of Ours'. Unfortunately, I ended up moving back to Atlanta, and here we are now... By the way, Cleen and I are finishing up on our CD and I still plan on putting mine out......................................................... ............................................................ ..... .CLEEN MUSIC PAGEClick here to see Cleen's (my patnah in rhyme) page........................................................ ............................................................ ........Our recent show........................................................ ................................Our CD (you need to buy it)......................................................... .....................................
