IdenticalOppositesKrew.. goes back to about 1997, originally a breaking krew in the Antelope Valley known as the Xiles, who made a name for themselves as a Break Dancing krew. Most of the members grew up together Living and Loving HipHop, and cultivating their Various Skills. Identical Opposites was originally a song put together by Gadget and his brother Knowone. They really admired the track, but since it was never recorded they decided to do more with the name. So in 2003 Gadget and Wut started the crew involving the old crew members from Xiles, they started performing at open mics, house parties, and anything they could get! So far IOK has opend up for acts such as Evidence, Typical cats, Crayz walls, 2mex, The Shape shifters, TheLiterates,TheMetamorphs,BenYomen,Mr.Cleen,LostAnimals, Rheteric, Mestizo, Awol one, Brother j , LNMO, Wildchild, Minus+Hoppa, Soundtribe, Life 4 the Better, SoberMinded, Sleep and P.O.S from rhymsayers. back In 2005 Gadget entered an emcee battle sponcerd by FatBeats! He ended up winning the battle which gave him the program Reason 3.0 and with that they started making and producing there own music. Building home-made studios in garages and bedroom closets.. They have recorded a number of unreleased projects including a few collabs with L.F.T.B. and a couple solo projects from Gadget and Whut that are still gonna drop A.S.A.P... We were blessed with a donation to help support the krew and an mpc1000 from our good friend Monica Lopez. We do it because we Love it. We are accomplishing all of our dreams just making Good, Soulfull, Real HipHop music.
