DUDE LOOKS LIKE A DRUMMER!

About Me

HI, My name is Jimmy Cicchini. My friends call me Jimmy Chick for short because pronouncing my last name can be either hilarious and/or embarrasing to some people when they inevitably screw it up. I live in Philly, South Philly to be specific.Right in the heart of the Italian Market. I'm a musician and I play the drums. Been playing for over 36 years now and loving every minute of it. It really keeps me young.I've played in every musical situation you could think of except maybe opera!! I consider myself to be a pure "Grooveologist". I'll give you the authentic grooves when I lock it in. I've done some session work at Sigma and the defunct Alpha International studio's and many of the local recording studios in the Tri-State area. I've played all of the Atlantic City Casino's and have performed in a few local show's like Tony and Tina's Wedding. Currently my band, the Quake/Quake Unleashed is the house band for the local Monday Night Live show on Comcast Sportsnet hosted by Michael Barkann every Monday night at 7pm. We'll be back next season so keep watching. Check us out at our Agency web site: http://www.bvtbands.com/quake/I'm a down to earth, fun loving guy. I hate confrontations and try to keep things running smoothly all the time but you don't want to get into it with me because I have a very bad Italian temper but I do keep it in check.I'm a one woman man when I'm in a relationship. I can be a little lazy at times and have to push myself to do things. I'm cut and dry! You get three strikes then kiddo your gone! I love to eat out at nice resturants, go to the movies, see live theater, see other friends of mine performing in bands and live life! I like to dance when I'm sufficiantly liqured up...naw just kidding.Like I said before,I'm a loyal dude but don't screw me over or your cut off [and maybe cut up too]! Ha! Alright, give me a shout out and let's be friends!!!I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

Music, listening and playing it on my drums, Movies[sci-fi, adventure, mystery, drama, and comedy], working out, Theater, reading, traveling and making new friends. In the late ninties I began to be interested in the movie industry and did a few stints as an extra in a couple of major films shot in Philly. It was really fun and I enjoyed it very much.I was starting to get a few offers to do little bit parts mostly as a bad guy, but it conflicted with my music career so I had to drop out. Recently, I've been giving much thought into managing young bands. I'd love to be able to help guide, mold and shape a band in the right directions. Giving back to others is the ultimate way of saying thanks to God for all he's given me.
