About Me

If you missed the beginning:
It's September 1998 and driven by a desire for gentleness and harmony Guillaume, Catia and Totor decide to set off on a new adventure and bring some acoustic music to a tense world. Songs full of the lightness of being, as delicate as childhood, as poignant as a breath of the soul unveiling its scars, a whisper in your ear. In April 2000, Zorg released their debut album and received a rapturous welcome.
After a summer tour, it was time for Zorg to seek shelter in a mysterious attic, a protective space that, for a long winter, was indeed to become a sweet cocoon. Come January 2003, Guillaume, Catia and Totor present the sequel of the Zorg adventure and reveal A Certain Idea Of Love, the second record. A snapshot of three lives briefly frozen in time, unforgettable, the melodies of an instant moment.
2003 was an exciting year for Zorg. The road, the stage, numerous concerts and many festivals in the middle of a scorching summer. Laughter, friendship and miles and miles of sitting on the worn-out seats of an antique bus. And, to end the year on a special note, Zorg wins the Swiss Top Contest on Radio DRS3.
Today:
In 2005, Zorg are back in the studio and the new songs gathered during 2004 are taking shape under the magical fingers of Guillaume, Catia and Totor. Zorg's breath, as it were, has speeded up; there's a raw touch; Bio's drums blend their beat with the finely honed melodies; energies intertwine.
Words mix with life to tell a tale about the precious bonds, which soothe the soul and which sometimes come undone. Words take off to celebrate these everlasting ties which in rare moments can join us forever. Tender ties that emerge between people, invisible and yet tangible.
Between Us, the third record, is born. Thirteen original songs linking the story of, and the intimate conversation between, two voices.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Guillaume Wuhrmann (vocals, guitar): Following a few hectic years as a hard rock hero, Guillaume decided to get his breath back and in 1998 founded Zorg because, well, the time had come. A new way of talking about one's self, of being at one's own mercy. For another relationship with melody, a new relationship with the audience, the need to forget the superfluous and focus on the essential. For the sheer enjoyment of really communicating

Catia Bellini (vocals): A touch of tenderness is good for us all, isn't it? From the world of theatre, with no musical experience except the usual concerto in the bath, Catia, the female pole, arrived at Zorg to blend her fragile voice with Guillaume's and let the melodies soar

Stéphane Tornare "Totor" (multi instrumentalist): A jack of all trades and master of them all who gets right to the core of a melody, rendering it invaluable and unforgettable. It's Totor's style that essentially moulds the music of Zorg

On the road
On stage, Zorg are flanked by three other wonderful musicians who deftly bring an ultimate sparkle to the show: Virginie plays violin,Bio plays drums and David plays electric guitar.
