About Me

We are a unique company, in that we make adventure sports movies that a have a multi sport theme. We feel that many viewers get bored part way through your average hour long ski, snowboard, skate, surf, etc, video and we like to offer the viewer a more entertaining experience. We also feel that many people who are into action sports and the lifestyle that follows, do more than one sport and are therefore looking for a video like we create. Our company came together in the Sugar Bowl dorms in the El Nino/La Nina years. Because of the talent of a few close friends we picked up a cheap digital camera and began shooting. We do premieres for our movies that are usually a lot of fun with bands, dj's, snowboard give aways, wet T shirt contest, drink specials and other good shit.We are primarily run by Sky Emerson and Brook Cantisano. This our new movie Perspective. The DVD is available on our website at www.summitside.comPerspective is a mostly snow-based movie featuring skiing (tele and alpine) and snowboarding, but also features segments on kiteboarding (snow and water), mountain biking, bmx, and more. It has been shot all over the west coast as well as Europe, Australia, and heli skiing in Valdez, AK. The movie is centered around the athletes, their lives and their Perspectives on everything from their sport to the problems of the world. It gives the message that living free and doing what you love are the keys to happiness. Featuring top pro’s as well as unknown amateurs, this movie promotes getting off your ass, out of the office, and having a good time! View Teaser below....

My Interests

Snowboarding, alpine and freeheel skiing, mountain biking, skateboarding, kiteboarding, moto x, wakeboarding, snowmobiling, B.A.S.E. jumping, Kayaking, BMX, sky diving.........Any type of activity that combines adrenaline and natures elements does it for us! In the winter we ride and film in Tahoe, mainly in the backcountry, but if inbounds we are probably at Alpine Meadows, Sugar Bowl, Squaw Valley, or Kirkwood. We hit the road too of course, usually visiting Utah, Wyoming, and Alaska, plus wherever else we can get to. The rest of the year we try to pull enough budget together to get to cool places like Europe, New Zealand, and British Columbia. There is nothing like traveling and having a good time, and if we can mix in some great riding and filming with amazing experiences we will be happy for a long time.....

I'd like to meet:

We would like meet everything from people with a general interest in extreme sports and outdoor activities, to pro and amatuer athletes, other production companies, clothing companies, bands, DJ's, photographers, cute girls who want to model for us, and anyone who loves to live life! We also feel that things are not quite right in the world, especially some of the policies here in the US. We feel that the conservatives running this country don't give a shit about the younger generations, only the padding of their bank accounts. Changes like allowing non-fossil fuel vehicles to be made, acknowleding global warming, investing in solar power, and not making enemies in every other country, are things that have to happpen if we want to keep living the awesome lives that we do! So, we are definitely down to meet those we care for our future and would like to see some changes!
