Tahoe Longboards

My Name is Chuck Vogt " Buckley ". I started Skating in 1973 at just a few years old.I grew up riding parks and vert and always had a thing for bombing hills. Today i am the ownwer and founder of Tahoe Longboards.Tahoe Longboards is my baby.Im also founder of Tahoe Board Company wich is my shortboard gig in wich i have a team and we kill it. Tahoe Longboards was born in 1997 when a friend of mine Matt Plenge an old high school buddy came to me with a longboard cut out of shitty plywood. I engraved the lake in the middle of the board with a dremmel tool and the words "Tahoe Longboards" through the middle . Once we figured out the proper wood to use we made several model prototypes . I found myself engraving hundreds of Lakes and staining all the boards redwood . Alot of chemicals in a small space. Maybe thats whats wrong with me. Snowboard season was over and we were bored. We had all these hills and no skateparks thus TLB rose from the dust. Riding around barefoot and mostly in our surf trunks it was a great way to pass the time in the summer. I highly recommend it . mmmmkay
