About Me

Skate the Lake is a longboard skateboard relay along the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe and the Coast of Los Angeles. All proceeds from this relay will be donated to Boarding for Breast Cancer in order to raise awareness of a targeted group of individuals in their youth.We will kick off the weekend with a registration party Friday, August 22nd at Lakeside(behind Safeway)in Tahoe city. Then the following weekend August 29th at Arbor Boards in Venice Ca. At the first light of dawn on Saturday, August23(Tahoe),August 30th (L.A.), the fun will begin. Athletes of all ages and skill levels can skate as much or little as they like, or go for it all and complete the marathon of 27 miles for Tahoe and 18 for LA. Featuring Hellcat Record's Left Alone, Love's Tank, and Orbiter 500. Lakeside Pizza and Arbor Sports should be the best venues STL has seen to date!
