About Me

My motto: "Never ever bloody anything...ever!"

Born in 1969, during the arse-end of the Vietnam war, a few days after the 1st Isle of White festival and a couple of months after some blokes had fannied around on Da Moon! I've never quite gotten over the fact I wasn't born in 1950. Still I'm here now and don't think I could've coped without an xbox and a wide variety of continental lagers.

I'm a Social Worker which is a job I love doing. It's extremely eye-opening and very, very real. It's demands you develop skills in communicating and dealing with a huge variety of people. I've learnt so much about myself and humans in general since I started working in the Social Care field. It's not a million miles away from being a detective, "Control the case, don't let the case control you!".

Before getting involved in social work I spent over 10 years in the film and telly business. I was a film planner for a movie channel and then a film booker for the in-flight industry. Quite good fun since I got to go to film festivals, premieres and eat at some of the best restaurants (the one thing I miss). Finally left all that though, thoroughly bored by the corporate, money-grubbing, shallowness and self-importance of most the idiots I had to obey. Best goddamn decision I ever made!
