Chinese/Irishman, Singer/Songwriter, Anto Yau (King Hei) was born in the early 80's in Ireland's Big Apple Dublin.
After his parents immigrated from Hong Kong,
he spent most of his childhood playing football with friends by the Walkinstown Church Green and enjoyed watching the World Cup 90's.
He picked up his first guitar at the age of 12 and throughout school he pretty
much slept right through classes, woke up and wrote songs.In secondary school he formed a Rock Band called 'Apple an a Toothpick' with a few school mates but has been playing solo after the band split up after school. Since then anto has been gigging non stop around mostly Ireland and the UK. He has featured on many compilations and released many self-made mixtapes and ep's, recorded featured tracks on hip-hip Irish legends 'Collie' (Irish Metor Nominee Dublin Rapper on 'cool water') and Cork legend GMC (Shooting Stars) which made it on his 'diggin' a hole' debut that charted on the IRMA Top 100 albums.
There are also plenty of clips and tricks on the internet to keep us all interested till his solo album comes out, which he still has a few songs to record.His most recent away tour in Hong Kong was more than what he could expected since receiving a great responce @ (wholala.org) showcase gig in late 2005.
These days he has been only doing special appearances with bands and people he has worked with while doing low key shows around the country.
