FatDad

Fatdad has been playing in this configuration since December of 2005, creating infectious music for people with many musical interests. At a Fatdad show, a listener will experience music from many styles including funky jazz rock to afro-cuban rhythmic grooves. You can also hear vocal performances from 4 of the 5 members. Fatdad's original sound really comes through during their creative musical explorations. Most of the music Fatdad performs are original compositions by members of the band, but it wouldn't be unheard of to hear a Dead or Marley tune sneaking into a set. Fatdad's sole pupose is to play music for the true love of creating improvisational music, for that magical energy that happens in a moment in time, then is gone......The vibes lately have been so great and it is all thanks to the many friends who have been attending our shows contributing to the positive atmosphere where creativity can take place. Fatdad has a vision to keep the Bismarck music scene healthy while also spreading our music to a broader audience. We've created the Harmony Music Festival in Bismarck which will continue as the last festival of the summer circuit, where musicians and fans come together to celebrate the power of music.
