I have found the best way to put my DVR to good use: relive my teen angst by watching the kids from Capeside.
of course I like everything else listed here, but I have to say that What to Expect When You're Expecting was a Godsend, especially the day I sat in bed for 4 hours counting what I thought could be contractions, only to end up strapped to the monitors and....nothing! But that book was there for me while Mike was snoring! haha. Now we refer to What to Expect the First Year as "The Bible," and again, thank God for it...if not for the section on normal baby temperatures, who knows what our reaction to Adison's low temp would have been?
