I am fragrance focused, and particularly like the scent of rich dirt, licorice, Tom Ford Black Orchid perfume, Yves Saint Laurent Paris, ginger, freesia, pinot noir, dark beer, wet streets, my fella, new plastic, peonies, cedar, mint, rosemary, leeks, fresh butter, spicy magnolia trees in the early summer evening, the jasmine next to my bedroom window, cinnamon, vanilla, figs, sandalwood, and what not. Research in the science of happiness and other life satisfaction stuff. Ask me about my thesis if you are masochistic and have a few hours to kill.

Books, books, books. Too many books. Biographies, Classics, Dickens, Jane Austen, Bronte sisters, Oscar Wilde, Edith Wharton, Hemmingway, Hesse, the French Laundry, the Enchanted April, D.H. Lawrence, Simone de Beauvoir, Cookbooks;(Alice Waters, Nancy Silverton, etc), whatever looks good at the library, honestly I have become obssessive with such a large array of books that I wouldn't really know where to start, (some of you know how that feels). I also have subscriptions to Vogue, Everyday Food, National Geographic, and for some reason I get Anthropologie catalogs several times a week.
