I was born and raised in Northwest Baltimore , Maryland .I was your average kid who loved to play tag , hidden go seek and other children games , but even at the age of five i was musically inclined. I sung on my grandmothers church quior,
in school in chorus class , i also played the viola and the sax (temperarily). I began rapping around age 9 or 10.Back then i used my nicknmame giving to me by my family "JUICE". I performed under that name for the first time at AGE 12 in my middleschool(Olde Court Middle) 7th grade talent show and won 1st place. That same summer i began performing in many ohter talent shows and show cases with a productin company called Harbortown Prod.(Managed by Greg Thompson). I still used the name Juice and performed with other baltimore acts(like: Total Kaos the dancers ,14k bka Dru Hill , WISDOM{DEF JAM){R.I.P}Kolaid
and others...).I changed my stage name to Authentic John D.O.E in the summer of 93'.I don't know why but i felt like having some old gangstas name or using my goverment name cuoldn't describe me as an artist. John doe was kinda easy to come up with and labeled me , because of my diversed backgroud and schooling along with my family heritage i was a fond of many genres of music and versatility different artist possesed which lead me to my style of hip hop. I felt it was only right to give my self some distinctive title to seperate me from any other MC's who might want to use the name john doe , so came Authentic John D.O.E .
