It always seems that I have to do alot of soul searching, reevaluating myself and the things in my life. In that process I've both discovered and rediscovered many things. The first being that no matter what happens in your life there is one constant - you. So you have to love yourself, find value in yourself, find meaning in your own life. I have a habit of putting others before me so I have to remind myself of that often. Once you've done that, however, you can find new meaning in the relationships with those people closest to you, and the net result will be that you are more content with life. I know this all sounds very corny or campy, it reads that way as my fingers hit the keys. I'm not the type that thinks that everyone should stand around in a big stupid circle, hold hands, and sing koombiyah, that's not it at all. But in the end the key to true and lasting happiness, to be happy with yourself.
