Tiyon Lloyd Simpson AKA PastorTiyon/SafeT was born in May 1988. I developed a love for music at an early age, growing up with some of the classic reggae and soul hits from back in the day, artist such as Bob Marley, Lionel Ritchie, Luther Vandross and many others. My Mum used to sing in a choir at our local church. I started learning piano at age 10, and even after getting to grade 3, I decided not to persue learning grades and ended up developing my piano skills on my own, and by listening to various different artists. I also taught himself to play guitar at age 15. I started making his own beats at age 16, using some of his musical skills to create his own unique sound. Ive been making beats for almost three years now and ive been signed to Notorious Soundz, and im slowly building my contact list up and i have a number of artists/accociates. I (as my alias PastorTiyon) have been writing rhymes for a number of years, but never looked into the prospect of looking at myself as an artist or a singer/rapper, as i do both. however ive recorded a few tracks, which are all also produced by myself.
