Biography
My name is Splinta. I'm 19 Years old and I'm from Tooting, South London.
I like making rap music. I'm a solo artist at the moment but I do also work with other artists in the local area. I always songwrite my own music and dont songwrite for other artists yet. I record my own tracks but still havent got the experince on the producing side of music. I have produced some beats like "on the grind" which is avaliable at my website/blog.
I have always had interset in music since young age. It setted off in 2003, when I opened up a online radio station. I used to promote other unsigned artists in rap/r'n'b genre in a slot. I used to manage few DJ's who would present their own shows online. Sadly, It shut down because due to insuffcient amounts of DJ's and broadcasters.
During that time, Pilla pane (KBF) used to rap in a secondary school which I went to. we would start recording in house with a simple microphone and a PC. From then, I started to learn how rap by listening to rap songs and how poetry was put out on beats.
In Oct. 21, I put out my first song called "locked up" with pilla pane. That also started "Splinta's Productions". From then, I started making solo tracks and loads of collabrations with pilla pane & another artist called collida.
Between 2004 - 2005, I used to go new youth community centre called "Base aka Connexions" after school. There used to be a area where people interseted in music used to learn how to DJ. As a inspired person, i meet a person who was a professional in the music field. I used always go to base and learnt how to DJ with some of my friends. Just when I started to learn about "Sound Enginerring", we was struck by GCSE's.
Regardless of GCSE's, I never stopped making rap music in my room.
Just using ACID Pro 4.0, I recorded a whole loads of tracks which is still in my library of music now. I tried releasing my first mixtape called "The final countdown" which didnt really sucessed.
Inspired by US and UK Hip-Hop, I Still countined to represent myself, family, friends, surrondings and country.
I am still in college learning "Manufacturing Engineering". I'm still hopeing to learn the multimedia field like sound engineering while going to university for my other field of engineering.
I have got plans also extending my bedroom studio even bigger. I have being buying equipments and learning manuals and tutorials into sound engineering.
I'm very serious when it comes to music. People say I go to far with it, but I love it more than a hobby. I would like a job which relates or requires what I do in a hobby/spare times. By the way, let me finish off the story by I looking to own the world by the age of 22!

First of all a big shoutout to my mum . Till this day today, my mum has devoted her life to look after me and my brothers through life. Always has being there through broke, emocitional and hard times. I will always love her...
Secondly another shout out to my friends . Went through some mad times like secondary school, college, accidents and so much more. Also for some them mad talks about love life, making money, what we want to be when grow up (lol) and that... Thanks for sticking on my side! All of of you know who you are!
Thirdly and not last, You . For taking your time reading my page and also hopefully listening to my tracks. It means a lot because I put out my word across about how i feel about the enviorment which is surrounding me and my thoughts which is delievered onto tracks till this date. Thanks!
