TFT News! 6 Songs Featured on "The Fight Network"! 6 TFT songs have been chosen for a new show called "Rough" airing in the next few weeks on "The Fight Network" .
The Songs are split up between the first two episodes so don't forget to watch! Think about it! A front row (your couch) view of people getting their heads smashed to TFT songs!!! That kicks ass!
Episode 1 airs this Thursday November 15th at 8:30 EST and will repeat the rest of the week, and Episode 2 will air Wednesday November 21st at 9:30 EST and again on Thursday at 8:30 EST and 11:30 EST."New Seattle" is kicking butt on "Sirrius"! New Seattle is the number 1 requested Indie song on Iceberg95 (Sirrius Sattelite)... Thanks to everyone that requested us. Keep them coming! Album Available in the U.S.A. TakingBreakingDown is now available at your favorite US music retailers. Awards... for us? THE F1RST TIME have been nominated for the 2007 Toronto Exclusive Magazine Awards in 3 categories!!!!

Best Song - For "What is this?" Best Rock Group Artist of the Year!!! THE F1RST TIME were also nominated as - Best Alternative Rock Band - for the 2007 Toronto Indie Music Awards!!!

Air Play From Coast to Coast! Radio stations across the nation have been playing the first two singles released this year off "TakingBreakingDown". THE FIRST TIME tracks have only been on the air a very short time and here are some of the highlights:

TFT Became the first ever 5 time champions in Rock 106's nightly "Cage Match". Pitted against top bands like Bon Jovi, Tupelo Honey, 30 Seconds to Mars, Hot Hot Heat, and Buckcherry, the TFT boys emerged without a scratch! Thank you to all the fans that voted! TFT hit number 4 on CHUO in Ottawa TFT is number 18 on the charts with "What is This?" on Hamilton's C101. K-Rock in Charlottetown P.E.I. played "What is this?" as song number 6 in their Top 7 at 7. TFT can't thank everyone enough for all the support and requests. With "New Seattle" just released to radio, we are hoping more people jump on the TFT bandwaggon and join forces with some of the best fans on the planet! You guys rock!! Radio Stations & Requests!

Review from Locofest 2007

Around 2 p.m., the Canadian alternative rock band The First Time played the Jager stage. Their debut CD, TakingBreakingDown, wasn't released until Wednesday of this week, but they still managed to get the crowd on their side. They were one of the best new acts in Locofest this year. Not only was their music some of the best all day, but they knew how to put on a show. Their stage presence was awesome and if they are ever in the area everyone should go see them
