About Me

When Groove first hits the soul those first few moments quickly morph into a miniature lifetime.Hot Politics a Greensboro based funk act that depends on the heartbeat that drives all music, the groove. With members Tommy Scifres, Phil Clarke, and Jeff Hindson founding the band in early ‘06. Hot Politics has quickly established themselves as one of NC’s premier original funk acts (touring from Asheville to the Outer Banks). With additions Jason Bullock and Adam Donohue holding the horn section down. The tight intertwining horn melodies criss-cross there way over a hard driven groove laid by an unyielding rhythm section. The music speaks for itself and the groove has never felt so tangible. With their musical journey laid before them, the road has now just been discovered, and all that remains to be asked is. Would you like to come along for the ride!HOT POLITICS BOOKING: [email protected]
