Hawks and Doves Music Presents . . .Born in Brooklyn. Born into the light of love and reflection. Born into this world. My grandfather was a blind musician. He toiled his way through the subways each day. Blind to the world but not to its ways.I write because I have to. I write because there's so much to say. I sing because my heart tells me to. Because it feels so good. I want to play music and share it with people. So that's what I do.I don't have a cell phone though it seems impossible. I don't wear a watch because the thought of carrying time with me seems oppressive.I love love. I choose it and I choose the positive. Life is filled with decisions and at every corner there is the opportunity to choose a path. One leads to truth and honesty. The other leads to lies and deception.I like music that's timeless. I like music that makes me feel, makes me think, makes me want to know more.I'll play where ever someone will listen. I've played the subways of New York City. I've given heart felt performances in my living room. I've wandered off the streets and onto the stages of some of New York City's best venues. Private fashion parties, song placement in movies, Gillette Stadium and the PNC Arts Center. I rocked the house at Sodra Teatern in Stockholm, Sweden.I've collaborated with and shared the stage with so many beautiful performers, inlcuding Karen Gibson Roc of HBO's Def Poetry Jam.I'm trying to make this happen while living my life and enjoying the ride. My greatest fear is not living up to my full potential.I'm always writing. Life is the story. I'm just watching it all happen.
