The Used, Avenged Sevenfold, and pretty much anything else along those lines..On February 20th, 1967, in a small house in Aberdeen, Washington, a legend was born. His name was Kurt Donald Cobain. He learned to play guitar in his early teens, and formed a band that today is known as the band that started grunge - Nirvana. The band made their first album in 1989, but sucsess came to them when they came out with their hit single "Smells Like Teen Spirit." The songs raves an anthem for teens across the world, and still does today. But sucsess isnt what the rock-star was looking for. In 1994 he wrote a letter to his fans, saying that he just wasnt getting the satisfaction from his career that he was hoping to get. But the letter wasnt released to his fans the way he had planned. He died on April 5th that year, and the letter was released as a suicide note. His body was found 3 days after his death with a "self-inflicted wound to the face and massive heroin injections" in the green house about his garage. But that wasnt a self-inflicted wound. Kurt Cobain was murdered that day, and was raped of his life with his daughter, Frances, and of his upcoming music career. Today, he would be turning 39 years old...
